Fozzie’s has been known by many names and has a rich history in Coffs Harbour. The mini pancake business started in the region back in the early 80’s as a small food stall at the local markets.
In 2010, the business was purchased by the current owner and founder of Fozzie’s, Robert Foster better known as ‘Bob’.
Bob, a former Police Officer purchased the business originally as a small weekend hobby. Bob set about pushing the business further and it was decided to leave the weekend market scene and go as a stand alone business. Moving to a food van, the business continued to grow over the years.
During our global pandemic, Fozzie’s put systems in place which enabled the business to continue trading throughout and by the end of 2021, the decision was made to Franchise.
So with the help and support of his wife Renee and his eldest daughter Alexa, who as a 12 year old would stand and hand Bob the serving plates to place the cooked pancakes on, the dream was acted on and Fozzie’s was created.
Bob and Alexa’s drive for perfection in our products combined, with good old fashioned customer service and attention to detail ensured customers left with a smile on their face and a pancake experience like no other.
In 2025, the hard decision to close our Coffs Harbour location was made in preparation for Fozzie’s first fixed premises on the Sunshine Coast. Come visit us at Fozzie’s Mooloolaba!
